This is going to sound completely crazy, but I swear both of these work: (1) Fiber supplements, and (2) Olive oil. Fiber supplements are really bulk-forming laxatives, so they take up a lot of space in your stomach when taken with water. Olive oil is great during those stretches between meals for shutting down hunger pangs. The good news is both of these are not only 100% safe, they’re good for you. Fiber and olive oil both help lower your overall cholesterol levels, and olive oil raises your "good" cholesterol while lowering your "bad" cholesterol. I’ve cut my overall cholesterol numbers in half (280 to 140) by using fiber supplements and olive oil. I’ve also lost over 30 pounds — great benefit, huh?

Fresh pineapple – it works so well and I discovered it by accident. It just seems to suppress the appetite.
