For those who tried both appetite suppressants and fat burners, which one helped you lose weight faster?
I’m on a fat burner called Lipo 6. I’m wondering though if switching to an appetite suppressant like Hoodia will help me lose weight or melt body fat any faster.
Sorry for not explaining my situation specifically enough. I already know the obvious basic to losing weight is eating healthy and exercising regularly. I’m just wondering on top of that, which supplement will help you lose weight or melt body fat even faster: appetite suppressants (like Hoodia) or fat burners (like Lipo 6, Hydroxycut, Hotrox, Redline, Zantrex 3, etc.)? If I wasn’t in a hurry to shed enough weight or body fat for my entry-level military physical coming up pretty soon, then I wouldn’t have resort to this.
BTW, of course I try to watch carefully what I’m eating and exercise regularly.

A few years ago my doctor prescribed an appetite suppressant, and I lost tons of weight. I also gained it right back plus 20 more. Being on those pills taught me nothing. I finally took control of my life last May. Since last spring I have changed my eating habits and have begun an exercise program. I have lost 58 lbs. and gone down 5 sizes. I don’t know about all these drugs. I think you have to do more and eat less. The old fashoned way diet and exercise. That stuff gives you the crazies. Hard exercise at least 3 times per week will have better benefits than any suppliment. I have found that my mood is better with exercise, my metabolism has straitened out on its own and coincidently I eat less. I work out very hard 3 or 4 times a week for 2 hours at a time. I tell you its worth all the effort I couldn’t go a week without my work outs!

Those pill only works when you are taking them! Hoodia is even worst than fat burner. Once you stop the pill, you will eat as much as before, or even more. It is call to yo-yo effect. Study proved that people on extreme diet usually bounce back and gain more.

Hoodia is an excellent appetite suppressor and I would use it over fat burners. Too many of the fat burners are just caffeine products. With Hoodia, just be careful that you do not go overboard and start skipping meals if you are not hungry. Use Hoodia with a reasonable low calorie diet.

Eating a well planned diet and exercise are the answers. Remember that when you take any pills you are taking a chance of disrupting your body’s built in systems. Eating is a habit that can be changed. I started about one year ago and with exercise lost 69 pounds so far!
