Sarah:

I can't comment on the other supplements but I can on hoodia. There are a few things you need to keep in mind as far as hoodia goes.

The first thing is that most of the hoodia supplements on the market today are fake - as much as 80% of them are! You don't mention what brand you are taking so I don't know if what you're taking is real or not. What I recommend you do is read the following article as it provides guidelines of what to look for when buying hoodia to make sure you are getting authentic hoodia:
http://hoodiaandweightloss.com/information-on-hoodia/buy-hoodia/

Assuming the brand you are taking is real, there are a few other possible issues at play. For starters, 500mg per day isn't going to do anything. I've talked to experts in the industry and they say it can take anywhere between 2,250-3,000mg per day before it works! Not everyone will need that much, but it's very unlikely that anyone will benefit from hoodia with less than 1,200mg per day.

The other thing is that it can take as long as two weeks or more before it starts to take affect. Since it's not a drug and just a simple herb, it usually doesn't work immediately. It takes some time to take affect.

The other thing is that hoodia doesn't always work - regardless if you are taking authentic hoodia and are taking enough everyday. Some people just don't respond to it. We're all wired differently so what works for one person may not do anything for you. The only way you'll know if it works is by getting enough of it everyday for at least a two week period. If it doesn't work after that, it's not going to work for you.

Finally, keep in mind that all hoodia does is suppress appetite. It is not a stimulant so it will not burn fat or somehow magically melt the weight away. That being said, the process of how it works takes time. As an example, a doctor I work with has been administering hoodia to his weight loss patients for over two years now. On average, they are only losing about 2-3 pounds per week, which is terrific, but certainly not a significant amount of weight in a short period of time.

Hope this helps.

Ok first off, stop taking the Metabo-Drene. It does not work at all. As for the hoodia I have read reviews saying it does and reviews saying it doesnt. I think a lot of it is kinda mind over matter. Like if you take it you will make yourself THINK its not hungry because yours taking this pill. Dont waste your tiem with the Tonalin either.
Diet pills do not work. The only thing that does is good old fashioned diet and exercise.

If you want to lose weight and not feel hungry do this. Eat 5 small meals a day:
Breakfast- Cereal, oatmeal or 2 eggs.
Snack- Fruit or yogurt
Lunch- Salad with not a lot of dressing
Snack- Veggies or granola bar
Dinner- Chicken with veggies
Drink a lot of water or other liquids without calories or very fw calories like crystal light. This will help you feel full as well.
This works. The reason is because your body gets used to being fed every few hours and does not store the food your eating, knowing it will get fed again soon. AS long as the meals and snakcs your eating are healthy decisions and your working out you will have no problem losing the 10 lbs you want to lose.
